I believe that as your state senator, I can make a difference.

The most critical issues that face our state senate district are rising property taxes, increasing energy costs, preserving clean water and open space, improving our antiquated road and rail systems, and encouraging alternative energy development. Also high on my list of priorities is promoting educational excellence and expanding affordable health care coverage. I believe many of our elected officials share these priorities but so far, partisan bickering in Hartford has waylaid real reform. Support me and I will ally myself with forward-looking senators in both parties who believe that reform is critical to Connecticut's ability to attract new, high-tech investment and keep our young people in the state.

I can and will be your advocate, and will use my skills to deliver results that address the issues that trouble our district.
